March Madness live scores

Live or in-play betting is available for every game of March Madness. It has become one of the most popular means of NCAA basketball wagering, as it allows bettors to get involved in the action after the game has started. Real time wagering on March Madness games can be thrilling, as the the momentum of games can change at any moment and in-game bets can be advantageous if an informed betting strategy is used.

The most popular March Madness pre-game markets are generally also available for live betting, including the moneyline, point spread, total or over/under, and prop bets. The key difference is that the odds for these markets will be dynamically updated, both to reflect what is playing out on the court and what the sportsbook thinks will happen in the remainder of the game.

As a result, when you see live March Madness odds that you like, you should act faster since they will likely change quickly given the end-to-end plays of most games. The more quickly you can put bets on live lines, the better positioned you will be to take advantage of value in the odds.

March Madness bracket

Aside from being one of the most anticipated announcements on the college sports calendar, the March Madness bracket is responsible for determining which teams face off during the tournament, as well as every team’s potential route to the Championship Game.

The final bracket is made up of 64 teams, who are divided and are then seeded into four groups of 16 according to their region (East, Midwest, South, or West).

In the first round of the bracket, the region’s first seed play the No. 16 seed, the second seed play the No. 15 seed, and so on.

Higher seeded teams are deliberately kept at opposite ends of the bracket, as to ensure their seeding awards them with an “easier” run to the tournament’s latter stages.

The First Four, first round, and second round normally take place over six consecutive days, before the remaining teams rest for three days ahead of the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight. There is then another four-day break ahead of the Final Four, with the Championship Game traditionally taking place two days after that.

March Madness results

You can see all the latest results for every game of March Madness with BET.CA on this page. The results of March Madness games can be helpful for informing your bets, arguably even more so than the team rankings and seedings. The fast-paced and intense nature of the tournament means that you should focus on teams' present form and analyze the results of their last two or three games.

For instance, if a team beats a higher seeded opponent or a tournament favorite barely overcomes a supposedly weaker opponent, investigate why those results might have occurred and whether there are factors that can be applied to the game you wish to wager on.

As in all sports betting, March Madness is typically about picking the best odds rather than the best team. To decide the optimal moment to place your bets, keep an eye on the latest March Madness results and any impact they might have had on the odds.
