Tennis live scores

Tennis is a fast-moving sport with plenty of live in-play betting opportunities, and following live scores can be hugely beneficial if you can’t watch the action unfold on screen.

Betting on live tennis matches is now a very straightforward process, with a plethora of markets available at numerous sportsbooks.

These include the most popular markets available to wager on before the match, as well as exclusive lines only available for live wagering, such as which player will win the next point or the correct score of the current set.

This means that even if your initial moneyline bet on the game isn’t going your way, you can find multiple routes to success by betting during the match itself.

To know when the best opportunities for live betting on tennis are, it helps to be familiar with the overall tennis schedule.

Upcoming tennis matchups

Tennis is a year-round sport that comes with very few breaks in a packed calendar of events. The year features four marquee Grand Slam events (the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open), and finishes with the ATP Finals in November, with only a short break through December before the new season gets underway again in January.

With so many games played throughout the year, there’s never a shortage of opportunities to bet on tennis, with live betting available for almost 12 months of the year. This means that if you can stay on top of the latest form and injury news, while keeping track of the recent results and upcoming tournaments, you’ll be ideally placed to take advantage of the best value opportunities when they arise.

The Grand Slam tournaments in 2023 will be taking place on the following dates:

Latest tennis results

Tennis results are very straightforward to understand. Matches are played over the best of three sets or, for men’s Grand Slam tournaments, the best of five sets. Each set is a race to six games, with the set needing to be won by two clear games. If a set reaches six games each, a tie-breaker game is played to decide the winner of the set. This means that tennis results are listed by the score in each set, e.g. 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.

Tournaments work on a standard bracket system, similar to the setup for tournaments like March Madness. Players are seeded to ensure balance throughout the bracket, with the winners of each match progressing to the next round, while defeated players are eliminated from the tournament.
